Architects Isle of Wight
Woods Architects is a design-led residential architecture practice based on the Isle of Wight, with a satellite studio in London. We work with homeowners and developers to create buildings of lasting quality — from house extensions and loft conversions to new builds and sensitive listed building work.
With studios in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight and at 55 Whitfield Street in Fitzrovia, London, we bring the same personal service and design rigour to every project — wherever in the country it may be.

Transforming an existing shell into a high-quality finished space requires precision and an eye for detail. We manage commercial and residential fitout projects end-to-end.
From coordinating all trades and finishes through to completion, we deliver fitout projects on time, on budget, and to the standard you expect.

The design stage can be both simple and complex, we have the skills & experience to navigate complexities of the planning system and get you to the best position with your project, creating something you love that’s buildable and affordable to you.
We prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications, and manage the contractor procurement process to ensure your project is delivered on time and within budget.
Partner & Build
In this technical phase, Woods Architects develops floor plans, layouts, technical detailing, and material suggestions. We produce construction ready drawings, ready to collaborate with your builder, or we can move straight into construction with our in-house construction team.
We stay involved until the very end — carrying out a snagging inspection and ensuring all defects are addressed before handover.
